The beach nearest our house is mostly rocky, not sandy. So went on crawling over them and smashing them (since they're like shale, easily broken). Thomas is throwing a rock, and Tolman is touching a brain coral.
While I would prefer a sandy beach, I'm a lover of any beach. Rocky beaches are a lot of fun for beachcombing since you never know what you'll find in the nooks and crannies between the rocks.
Shale would make for good skipping rocks! How close is the nearest sandy beach?
