Point Udall is the eastern-most point in the United States, so on this morning we were the first ones in the US to see the sun come up. There's a monument there, built in 2000 and shaped like huge intersecting "M"s and with a pole in the middle to act like a sundial, with lines on the ground that show true north, the equinox, etc.
