Termites here make little tunnels up the outside of trees so that they have a safe way to climb up and down. Tolman broke part of this tunnel and we saw them come out. Crazy.
Hopefully your house isn't made of wood...
Actually, our home is mostly made of concrete, like most homes here (due to the possibility of strong hurricanes, such as Hugo in '80).
