Mom & The Rooster

People are fascinated by the wildlife running around... like this rooster strutting through the pub where we had lunch.  Mom wanted me to get pics with her and the rooster.  :-)

Mom Feeds Fish

The Christian Brew Pub is right on the boardwalk, and the big fish right there love to eat the buffalo wing bones.  Weird, I know... and maybe not good for them, but they look fairly big and robust!  Anyway, here's Mom joining in the fun.

Blob

Can you guess what this is?  It's in some shallow water.  You get points even if you can tell after watching the videos.

It looks like a cow patty, or maybe some underwater plant.

In the first video, I pull back because it shot some water at me, which freaked me out a bit.

In the second video, it reached out and latched onto my toe with a sticky tentacle, which freaked me out again.

It's a little octopus.  Cool, huh?  It's legs are curled underneath its body, and you might be able to make out its head.  We never saw it fully extended: at one point we saw it move by pushing itself with one tentacle.

Did I mention we saw this on a scout camp?  Wild.
